There are foreign exchange counters in the arrivals and departures areas, on-site banks with cash machines, and a post office, travel agency, train and bus ticket offices, pharmacies (ground floor in arrivals and first floor in departures B, open every day from 8 am to 8 pm) , first aid post (ground floor, south-side), limousine service and chapel.
“Zzzleepandgo” sleeping capsules are available for those seeking a little privacy and rest; and the airport has five VIP lounges for travellers who want to start their journey in more exclusive and sumptuous comfort and style.
Free Wi-Fi Connection
Passengers at Malpensa Airport can take advantage of free high-speed internet access.
To access the Wi-Fi service, select the “MALPENSA FREE WI-FI” network on your smartphone, tablet, PC or other portable device equipped with a Wi-Fi card.
Once you have selected the network, you will be automatically directed to a welcome page where you register using a simple form or via your Facebook login.
If you register through the form, you will receive an email to the address you indicated. Click on the registration confirmation link to start using Wi-Fi. If you register through Facebook, you can start using Wi-Fi immediately.
Banking, Postal and Currency Exchange
The Banca Popolare di Sondrio has a branch on the second floor near check-in area 17, open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 1.20 pm and 2.35 pm to 3.35 pm, and Saturday from 9.05 am to noon. Tel: +39 02 5857321.
The bank also has ATM machines on the second floor (check-in areas 17 and 11), first floor (boarding A) and ground floor (international arrivals B, exit 8).
In addition, there are Euronet ATM machines on the ground floor (arrivals exit 3, 4 and 5, and baggage claim A and B) and first floor (boarding area satellite B); and a Deutsche Bank machine on the second floor (check-in area 4).
Providing both postal and financial services, the state-owned Poste Italiane has a branch on the ground floor in the arrivals area, open Monday to Friday from 8.20 am to 1.45 pm, and Saturday from 8.20am to 12.45 pm. Zzzleepandgo Service
Four Zzzleepandgo sleeping and relaxation capsules are located before security control in the departure area of Malpensa Terminal 1 (second floor, group area, near entrance 12). Follow the signs to the Respighi VIP Lounge, which is located in front of the Zzzleepandgo area.
Each capsule is equipped with a camp bed, fast Wi-Fi service, electrical and USB sockets to charge devices, and a touch screen interface to watch and listen to multimedia content. Through the touch screen, you can also activate blackout curtains on the front door and on the ceiling to enhance privacy.
There are no toilet or shower facilities inside the capsules, but airport toilets are located a few metres away.
